Gina is taken from Suzue Miuchi's manga, The Glass Mask. It is one of the fictional theater's piece titled Gina and the Blue Pots. The character is derived from the mermaid from genso Suikoden world like Lilin, Liloon, Lilen, Lilan and Lilon from the fourth series. The mermaid sisters open an accessory store.
She is inspired by the fish-shaped soya sauce containers which are commonly used to store the drug, GHB also named, Gina. Within the social representation, Gina is about addiction and greed.
